Finding the best talent setup using Warcraftlogs

Hello fellow raiders,

some people in my raiding team seem to have troubles finding the best talent setup for their class in a given encounter. So I decided to make a quick guide, how to find that bit of information on Warcraftlogs.com.

It is very easy:

  1. Obviously go to warcraftlogs.com. 🙂
  2. Expand the navigation menu on the top left and select the rankings option for a certain boss – let’s take Harjatan for example.
  3. On the ranking list, you have to adjust the settings for difficulty and your spec, I choose Heroic and Arms Warrior.
  4. Now you can see the best talents, legendaries and trinkets on top of the list. Sometimes there are several nearly equal options, so make sure to have a look at the list to see,
    if people all choose the same or if there are disparities.
  5. That’s it, now you can do incredible high dps using the most awesome talents your spec has to offer! 😉
